911 3.2 G50
911 – 3,2 CABRIOLET G50
Interior
The cabin features light beige perforated leather seats that create a bright and elegant atmosphere, especially with the roof open. The simple dashboard and classic analog gauges keep the layout clean and driver-focused.
A manual gear lever and handbrake with wood accents add a warm vintage touch, while the light carpets and door panels match the seats, giving the interior a balanced and minimalist Porsche character.

Engine and Transmission
Power comes from the 3,164 cc air-cooled flat-six, producing 231 hp, equipped with Bosch Motronic fuel injection.
The major mechanical update of the late Carrera 3.2 is the Getrag G50 five-speed manual gearbox with hydraulic clutch, offering smoother and more precise shifting than the earlier Type 915 transmission.

Did you know ?
A simple way to recognize a late Carrera 3.2 with the G50 gearbox is the rear fog light integrated into the reflector strip between the taillights. Earlier G-series cars used a separate rear fog light mounted under the bumper.
This detail appeared on the final years of the G-model (1987–1989) when the Getrag G50 gearbox was introduced.
